Finding my career
As a child, my eyes were set on becoming a banker, inspired by my father's prominent position in one of Nigeria's top banks. However, everything changed when I stumbled upon the enchanting world of Literature. It was like love at first sight, an overwhelming love for books and captivating literary works that pulled me in. I couldn't resist its allure, and I wholeheartedly embraced the Arts, bidding farewell to my banking dreams. The power of words and the beauty of storytelling became my true passion, forever shaping the course of my life.
Early career days
In the early stages of my career, I started off in Communications. However, it wasn't until the latter part of 2020 that I started exploring Product Management. I would consider my transition into product management a divine intervention 😂. It was Mobi Chukwunalu, the product lead at the company I where I worked at the time, who quickly recognized my enthusiasm, drive, and untapped potential in product transformation. With Mobi's invaluable guidance, I fully embraced the path of Product Management in 2021. Till this day, I am deeply grateful to Mobi for playing a significant role in shaping my career journey.
Interestingly enough, my academic background had no prior ties to Engineering. I actually studied Communication and Language Arts at the prestigious University of Ibadan. Surprisingly, this unique study experience had a profound impact on my career trajectory. From navigating technical interactions to effectively managing people, the qualities that define my core professional skills were rooted in my academic background and the remarkable individuals I encountered during my university years.
Choosing to study Communication and Language Arts proved to be an excellent decision for me. Not only is communication an integral part of human existence, serving as a fundamental asset in achieving success across any field, but it also accelerated my learning process in the tech industry. It provided a solid foundation that propelled my growth and adaptation within this dynamic field.
Joining SeerBit
To be completely honest, I wasn't actively seeking a job change when the opportunity to join the SeerBit team presented itself. However, I distinctly remember the day I Googled SeerBit and instantly fell in love with everything I discovered. From that moment on, my fate was sealed, and the rest became history.
Working at SeerBit has been an absolute delight, to say the least. The culture here is simply beautiful, and the people I work alongside are truly exceptional. The products we create are nothing short of amazing.
When it comes to my colleagues, I can confidently say that they are the cream of the crop. They make the work environment feel effortless, seamless, and incredibly rewarding. I consider myself blessed to have such sweet and kind-hearted individuals as my teammates. The working relationships we've built are superb and extend far beyond the confines of the office.

In Africa, businesses in various sectors such as FMCG, retail outlets, quick-service restaurants, hotels, etc., have a heavy cashflow, but are however face a daunting task when it comes to payment collections and overall financial management. Their accounting teams are stressed with hours of manual work, from tedious data entry to juggling multiple accounts across different banks. On top of that, they must navigate the intricate process of disbursing funds to suppliers and vendors. It is a lot of complicated paperwork, prone to human errors, and it leaves these businesses drained of time and resources.
